We are seeking a recent B.S. graduate with experience in product manufacturing, mammalian cell culture and molecular biology assays (0-1 years’ hands-on experience) to work in close-knit team performing experiments for preclinical and clinical research. The Technician will be responsible for producing laboratory reagents and cell culture models for distribution, as well as performing QAQC and record keeping duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or other Scientific field required.
  • Flexible work availability, including occasional weekends, is required.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, knowledge of BSL2 aseptic culture techniques preferred.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology assays (ex. Immunolabeling, qPCR, ELISA)
  • Applicants should be fluent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • Must be well organized and have good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary duties will include the manufacture and distribution of a product portfolio (both chemical and biological)
  • Being part of a team that conducts off hour research biweekly
  • Culturing of mammalian cells in a BSL2 facility
  • Running of quality control and molecular biology assays (Titration, plate reading, qPCR, ELISA etc.).
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety policies.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience
