The Visikol Difference
Through the use of its Visikol HISTO technology and proprietary image analysis software, Visikol is capable of offering true 3D analysis services wherein every cell within a 3D cell culture model can be characterized. Visikol is unique in its approach to 3D cell culture model analysis as it processes individual Z slices instead of extrapolating data from Z projections which allows for the entire population of cells to be characterized. Antibody Pharmacokinetics
Utilizing tumor spheroid models, the distribution of biologicals, antibody therapeutics, antibody drug conjugates, etc. into solid tumor models can be measured in vitro.
Apoptosis Assay
3D cell culture models effectively recapitulate the in vivo tumor environment, and are an effective tool for the evaluation of apoptosis-inducing effects of promising anti-cancer drug compounds. This assay can be coupled with up to two other imaging-based endpoints (e.g. cell proliferation and cell viability), or with immunolabeling to identify the type of cells which become apoptotic from treatments.
Cell Viability
3D cell culture models effectively recapitulate the in vivo tumor environment, and are an effective tool for the evaluation of cytotoxic effects of promising anti-cancer drug compounds. This assay can be coupled with up to two other imaging-based endpoints (e.g. cell proliferation and apoptosis)
High Content Screening
Visikol offers a wide range of High Content Screening (HCS) services to clients utilizing 3D cell models and traditional cell-based assays. Immune Cell Infiltration
3D cell culture models are biologically relevant and allow for proper assessment of immunotherapies designed to promote immune cell response to tumor cells. This assay can be utilized to assess the effect of compounds and therapeutic antibodies on immune cell infiltration, or to screen immune cell populations for use in immunotherapy.
Liver Fibrosis Assay
We offer in vitro compound screening, gene expression analysis, immunolabeling and confocal imaging of liver models, preparation and analysis of tissue sections from animal or human tissues, and advanced image processing and classification of clinical specimens using machine learning.
